Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea. See Matthew 2:1. It had been prophesied long before that the Christ would be born in Bethlehem, a town in the region of Judah. Micah 5:2. Hence the Christmas Carol 'Oh Little Town of Bethlehem'.

Jesus is the Son of God. The Messiah promised by God since ancient times to save all who believe. John 11:27

Jesus never sinned. The Bible is very clear that he is perfect and flawless. Hebrews 4:15, 2nd Peter 2:22

Jesus told everyone that if anyone wanted to follow him, they should deny themselves, take up their cross, and follow him. Luke 9:23-26

Jesus said that the greatest commandment is: Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. And the second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. See Mark 12:29-31.

Jesus began his ministry when he was around 30 years old. See Luke 3:23. In Jewish culture, it was around this age that a man was considered mature.

Christ is the title derived from the Greek meaning "Anointed, Consecrated", equivalent to the Hebrew Messiah. Over time, united with Jesus, it became the proper name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Parable of the Prodigal Son teaches us that God, the Father, loves and forgives. He goes to meet the son who was lost, brings him back and rejoices at his return.

Jesus' first miracle was turning water into wine. In Cana of Galilee, at a wedding feast, Jesus did this sign and many believed in him. Cf. John 2:1-11.

There were three hours of darkness (from midday until 3pm); the veil of the temple was torn from top to bottom and there was an earthquake that split the rocks. See Matthew 27:45-51.
