The Bible is a collection of 66 books, written in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek and ranging from Genesis to Revelation.

The word "Bible" originated from the Greek, referring to the set of sacred books. The books were written on papyrus sheets in the form of scrolls or parchments.

Counting the number of characters, Job 3:2 is the smallest: "He said:". John 11.35 is the second shortest: "Jesus Wept" and the smallest in the King James Version.
